The AIS Expression Gym is one of the three pillars of the AI for Science (AIS) Gym initiative, alongside the AIS Exercise Gym (pedagogical foundation) and the AIS Discovery Gym (research foundation). The Expression Gym is focused on outreach, communication, and public engagement—helping students, researchers, and scientists articulate their work and its significance clearly, creatively, and impactfully.
While the Exercise Gym teaches how to do AI for science, and the Discovery Gym asks what science we can unlock with AI, the Expression Gym addresses why it matters and how to share it. It’s about building trust, fostering understanding, and inspiring curiosity in a world where AI and science are becoming increasingly intertwined.
